THE STORY BEGINS

Over 300 of us recently shared our hopes for our spiritual community and many joined together in early February to imagine this potential future.  Unity North is now ready to give form to our dreams as we move to design our future around the priorities chosen:   Youth Education, Adult Education, Interest Groups/Internal Connection, Facilities Plan, and Media Technology & Communication.

Many participants have self-selected those priorities around which they have the most passion.  They will now design the structure we will need, as well as suggest how best to use our resources to achieve our dreams.  These “Design Teams” will present their reports to the whole congregation from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Saturday, August 16th.  Mark your calendars to attend!

YOUTH MINISTRY

The youth ministry at UNA constantly evolves and expands at the speed of imagination and in Divine Order. We create a nurturing and empowering environment for youth to co-create their spiritual educational experiences, incorporating Unity Principles and Core Values. Our dynamic interactive program offers opportunities for them to be filled with Truth, trust, understanding, unconditional love and acceptance through inspiring classroom encounters and loving connections between youth and the congregation. Our innovative educational facilities offer an exciting array of learning spaces. Compassionate, enthusiastic and caring volunteers are drawn to honor and minister to the needs of our vibrant group of regularly attending youth.  As our youth share their music and other exceptional talents and participate in the Sunday Services, we all combine our loving energies to celebrate peace, playfulness, laughter and joy!

INTEREST GROUPS / INTERNAL CONNECTIONS

• At Unity North we weave connections that run through all interest groups to create a strong sense of community.

• We create opportunities for people to connect with like minded individuals doing things they enjoy (or love). 

• We envision an environment where people come to church to pray, meet friends and be joyous in sharing passions.

• By bringing people together spiritually and socially we create a bond among congregants that extend beyond church.

MEDIA TECHNOLOGY AND COMMUNICATION

We harness the energizing power of leading edge technology to connect the Unity North community with seekers of Truth wherever they reside.  We utilize these leading edge media and communication tools to maximize our reach and actively engage seekers around the planet in the empowering spiritual message of Unity North and the transforming personal experience of the Divine.  We create powerful, engaging personal experiences via a dynamic utilization of multi-sensory media from our campus borders to our sanctuary and into every heart.  We enable an emotionally powerful sharing of the Unity North identity and experience with our local, regional and global community, celebrating and realizing our Oneness with each other and our mutual connection with Spirit.  Through high reach social media technologies we ensure an aware, informed, and engaged spiritual community; facilitating group activities, ideation and communication. 

 PRAYER TEAM

The Prayer Team joyously and enthusiastically supports and uplifts the unfolding process that the Design Teams are engaged in. Through holding the Sacred Space of Prayer Consciousness we affirm for each Team member, courage creativity and compassion as the process unfolds. We see for each Team harmony, respect and patience among the members. Your meetings come together with ease and your projects are fully supported financially. Positive, loving energy emerges, expands and unfolds and each Provocative Possibility is a reality in Divine Order.

Your Prayer Team is holding you and your Team members in prayer. It is our intention to regularly hold the following Truths in prayer consciousness for you as you do the necessary work in the future for our beloved.
