UNAC BY LAWS INTRO LETTER
Dear Unity North Atlanta Member,
The By Laws Committee has been working on revising the current By Laws to be presented for adoption at the Annual Congregational Meeting. The Committee has determined a several stage approach to the By Law revisions. Initially, shorter-range adjustments, those being presented here, with a longer-range plan that will recognize and continue during the evolving identification process of who Unity North is going to become. These By Laws will also be part of the informational package to be submitted to the Association as a part of our Senior Minister search.
The changes being proposed by the Committee will help to align our governing documents with the current operational structure of Board and Staff. Further these changes will correct some minor items, such as organizational titles, wordings and typos.
Reading the changes: Proposed changes and wordings are highlighted in red or blue. The more significant changes have explanations below their paragraphs, inside the gray shaded boxes. Generally minor changes are shown with what is being changed as a strike through with the new addition following.
Thank you for your interest in Unity North Atlanta,
By Law Committee, Unity North Atlanta
Chair: Ted Worrell
Members: Kim Guhman, Steve Bentley, Dick Howard and Charlotte Cornett
